WHU showcases cutting-edge innovations at 2025 WDEC

The 2025 World Digital Education Conference (WDEC) opened on May 14 in Wuhan, capital of Central China's Hubei province, where 秀色直播 (WHU) impressed attendees with groundbreaking achievements.

At the Digital Education Achievements Exhibition, the university's "Qimingxing-1" satellite virtual simulation system and intelligent bionic fish attracted significant interest from domestic and international visitors.

As a co-organizer of the event, WHU also hosted two on-campus observation sites. The Hubei Higher Education Digital Achievement Exhibition, held at the Zall Gymnasium, featured 52 standout projects from 16 universities, showcasing new smart education approaches, concepts, infrastructure, and models.

The university's Engineering Training and Innovation Practice Center for Students presented 32 digital education projects under the theme "Digital Intelligence Engine – Empowering the Future".

Highlights included an AI-powered knowledge graph system, an immersive power engineering simulation platform, a VR campus cycling tour system, and a virtual Antarctic glacier expedition.

WHU's innovations in digital education drew praise from visitors. "These achievements not only demonstrate the university's strengths in smart education but also reflect its commitment to cultivating innovative talent," one attendee commented. "Through these cutting-edge technologies, we're getting a glimpse of what the future of education can be."
