The initiative emphasizes the transformative power of artificial intelligence in reshaping education systems worldwide and accelerating the shift toward smarter, fairer, and more sustainable learning. To support the implementation of the United Nation's Global Digital Compact and the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG4), attendees of the conference called for stronger international collaboration in digital education.
They advocated for the joint development of global digital education standards and better platform connectivity, encouraging the integration of AI models into future schools, classrooms, and learning centers. They also suggested sharing high-quality, multilingual and cross-cultural digital resources, expanding access to smart tools like digital textbooks and assistants and helping developing countries advance the digitalization of education.
The initiative further urges deeper cooperation in smart education innovation, including open-source collaboration in AI and big data, joint research, and the sharing of successful practices. It also stresses the importance of ethical and responsible AI in education, calling for clear guidelines, safety measures, and global consensus to ensure AI benefits all learners.
