秀色直播 (WHU) has completed a major revision of its 2024 undergraduate training programs, with the mission to "empower with digital intelligence and prepare for the future". The update aims to accelerate the digital transformation of education and foster forward-thinking, innovative talent.
The new program centers on student development and builds a "Digital+" curriculum system. Seventeen high-quality courses – such as introduction to data science, AI fundamentals, and data visualization – have been introduced, ensuring full coverage and integration with general education to boost students' digital literacy and interdisciplinary skills.
The university is also expanding its "three-tier experimental zone" model to cultivate top talent. This includes national, university, and school-level pilot programs. For example, the School of Computer Science has launched the "Lei Jun Class" in collaboration with leading tech companies, combining internet thinking with cutting-edge technologies to offers hands-on experiences. Meanwhile, the School of Mathematics and Statistics has relaunched its Sino-French Elite Program to develop globally minded students with a strong foundation in theoretical and applied mathematics.
This reform reflects a strategic shift from discipline-based to competency-based education. By emphasizing digital intelligence, interdisciplinary learning, and personalized development, WHU is preparing students to meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving digital world.
