This semester, 17 cutting-edge courses form a "1+16" system: one core general course, Introduction to Data Science, and 16 specialized courses in AI, big data, cloud computing, and more. The curriculum spans general education, skill-building, application, and specialization, with modular, tiered options from high school to graduate level. Course leader Professor Wang Sheng has emphasized the need for tailored teaching to match students' varied programming backgrounds.
Utilizing its strengths in math, computer science, economics, and law, the university has invited top scholars and academicians to ensure high teaching standards. Vice-president Song Baoliang highlighted the goal of cultivating talent with strong digital and computational skills.
